Nest Pensions: claiming higher rate tax relief
The largest UK auto-enrolment provider. Always uses Relief at Source.
Example: a Nest Pensions member earning £65,000 paying in £2,600 a year (£3,250 gross) is owed £650 for 2025/26 alone - about £2,600 over four years - none of which HMRC pays without a claim.
Getting the evidence HMRC needs
Log in to your NEST online account, open "Contributions" and download the contribution history for each tax year (6 April to 5 April). NEST members' contributions are usually calculated on qualifying earnings (£6,240-£50,270), not full salary - check the amounts rather than assuming a percentage.
Our £99 claim pack turns your figures into the correctly worded HMRC letter, the year-by-year calculation and the evidence checklist - covered by a money-back guarantee if HMRC rejects it for eligibility reasons.
